“The association follows the fasb accounting standards codification, which provides guidance on accounting for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in an enterprise's financial statements. The guidance prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return, and also provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure and transition. As of august 31, 2017, the association had no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the association's financial statements.”
