The 2025 eisenhower global scholars include a low-income-housing specialist with the u.s. Department of commerce, a navy midshipman investigating the role of artificial intelligence in modern warfare, a phi beta kappa student of public policy and legal affairs and an afghani-american lawyer advocating for girls' education and the empowerment of women entrepreneurs. In the fall of 2024 these four, highly accomplished graduates of prestigious american universities began an all-expenses-paid year of intense academic study and cultural immersion at the university of oxford and ie university pursuing master's degrees in public service and international relations. Other programs: in addition to its international programs, eisenhower fellowships also operates a usa program, which sends between 10-12 u.s. Citizens abroad annually. The usa program expanded in 2024, with 20 american fellows traveling across the world. Ten usa fellows, including one agricultural fellow, traveled to 20 different countries (including moldova for the first time) to broaden their perspectives and connect with eisenhower fellows overseas. Among this group were ten zhi-xing china program fellows travelled to china after the program was put on hiatus or several years following the onset of the covid-19 pandemic.”
