The board and hospital administration allocates responsibility for oversight of the audit, review, and/or compilation of financial statements and selection of an independent accountant and assesses the effectiveness of those processes.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The hospital is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, except for net income derived from unrelated business activities, for which the hospital has none. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america requires management to evaluate tax positions taken and recognize a tax liability (or asset), if the hospital has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by taxing authorities. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken and has concluded that as of june 30, 2025 and 2024, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. The hospital's tax returns are subject to examination by federal and state taxing authorities. However, there are no examinations currently in progress or pending. The hospital is no longer subject to u.s. Federal income tax examinations by tax authorities for years before 2022.
