Mission

Schreiber center for pediatric development (schreiber) is a non-profit pediatric facility that provides family-centered education and therapy for infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities, developmental delays, and acquired injuries. We strive to maximize each child's ability to function independently and thrive within their community.

Schreiber pediatric rehab center of lancaster county is a not-for-profit organization that provides a family-centered education and therapy program for infants, children and adolescents with development delays and disabilities in the lancaster county area. Our goal-oriented approach maximizes each child's ability to function as independently as possible within the community.the organization's vision is to enrich and support the lives of children and adolescents as the community's premier provider of rehabilitation services.

PART X, LINE 2:

The center follows the standards for accounting for uncertainty in income taxes according to the principles of asc 740, income taxes, which prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken, or expected to be taken in a tax return. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the center including whether the entity is exempt from income taxes. Management evaluated the tax positions taken and concluded that the center had taken no uncertain tax positions that require recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. Therefore, no provision or liability for income taxes has been included in the financial statements. With few exceptions, the center is no longer subject to income tax examinations by the u.s. Federal, state, or local tax authorities for years before june 30, 2012.
