“A review is conducted by the Board prior to filing with the IRS”
“Annually as a condition of continued employment, each staff and officer will be required to sign a written acknowledgement that he or she has received and is in compliance with the Code. Moore's Sr. Vice President for Finance and Administration will have primary authority and responsibility for enforcement of the Code, subject to the supervision of the Audit Committee of the Board of Managers Officers. A written policy is included in the Faculty contract.”
“Annually a salary survey from peer institutions is presented to the Compensation Committee of the Board who determines the President's salary. The President uses the same survey to determine other Officer's and key employee's salaries and communicates compensation decision to the Board Compensation Committee.”
“The Conflict of Interest Statement is provided on the College's website.”
“The College does not record its collections in the financial statements. The College owns numerous pieces of fine art, mainly from prominent alumnae and faculty, along with some historical treasurers, primarily from the Joseph Moore family, that combined constitute the Moore College Archives. The College has made a commitment to preserve the archives and uses them as a resource for students at the College.”

“Endowment Principal is used for College's general expenses and financial aid”
“The College is a non-profit educational institution which has been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be exempt from federal income taxes under section 501c3 of the IRC. The college adopted FIN 48 as of July 1, 2008. Management has evaluated substantive tax positions taken by the College as of June 30, 2022. A tax position is recognized as a benefit only if it is "more-likely-than-not" that the tax position would be sustained in a tax examination, with a tax examination being presumed to occur. The amount recognized is the largest amount of tax benefit that has a likelihood of being realized on examination of more than 50 percent. For tax positions not meeting the "more-likely-than-not" test, no tax benefit is recorded. Under the "more-likely-than-not" threshold guidelines, the Management believes no significant uncertain tax positions exist, either individually or in the aggregate, that would give rise to non-recognition of an existing tax benefit. As of June 30, 2022, the College had no material unrecognized tax benefits or liabilities.”
