The foundation provides funding for children with kidney disorders to attend sleep-away summer camp at the frost valley ymca camp in the catskill mountains. It is the only camp program in the country that mainstreams "kidney kids" with healthy campers. Kidney campers get the dialysis and/or medications they need at the ruth gottscho dialysis center on site. Dialysis schedules are arranged to allow for maximum participation in the camp activities with regular campers.

Mission

The foundation provides funding for children with kidney disorders to attend sleep-away summer camp at the frost valley ymca camp in the catskill mountains. It is the only camp program in the country that mainstreams "kidney kids" with healthy campers. Kidney campers get the dialysis and/or medications they need at the ruth gottscho dialysis center on site. Dialysis schedules are arranged to allow for maximum participation in the camp activities with regular campers.

To enable children with kidney disorders to enjoy two weeks of sleep-away camp with healthy campers. It is the only camp program in the country where kidney campers get the dialysis and/or medications they need on site and are mainstreamed with the rest of the camp population for all camp activities.

KIDNEY CAMPERS GET THE DIALYSIS AND/OR MEDICATIONS THEY NEED AT THE RUTH GOTTSCHO DIALYSIS CENTER ON SITE. DIALYSIS SCHEDULES ARE ARRANGED TO ALLOW FOR MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION IN THE CAMP ACTIVITIES WITH REGULAR CAMPERS.
