The program funds had been invested in marketing programs to attract new businesses and visitors to support those businesses. Funds have been used for marketing/advertising campaigns, public relations, street banners, recovery efforts after superstorm sandy, and support for special events. Effective 6/30/15, the operating efforts and programs of the organization have been taken over by the city of asbury park.
