To build partnerships and collaborations between business, neighborhood and community organizations and provide the tools, talent and techniques to renew, redevelop and rebuild the five commercial corridors in Sector 4.

Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Our main project, Brooks Landing, is nearing completion. The main elements of the project are Staybridge Suites Hotel, Boulder Coffee Company, Brooks Landing Business Center, street lighting, boardwalk, and boat docks. We look forward to additional development along Genesee Street, Brooks Avenue, and Plymouth Avenue, as Brooks Landing continues to be the catalyst for economic growth in the southwest.We also continue our work to improve the commercial corridors of Sector 4. We are now in the construction phase of a facade improvement project that will change the look of Thurston Road for years to come. A detailed analysis was completed for every building, and renovations are now under way.We have also continued our success with other projects, including the Unity Health Employer Assisted Housing Program, a program partnership with Unity Health System to encourage home purchases in Sectors 3 and 4. Many homes have been purchased in Sector 4 as a result of this program.$3,500$75,024
