“CADE is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, CADE qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under Section 170(b)(1)(A) and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under Section 509(a)(2).CADE reviews the components of revenues, gains, and other support and analyses whether the position that the organization takes with regard to a particular item of income would meet the definition of uncertain tax position under generally accepted accounting principles. CADE files information returns in the U.S. federal jurisdiction and New York State jurisdiction.
