“Form 990 is prepared internally by the finance department. The draft form 990 is reviewed by kpmg llp,the independent accounting firm that perforns the audit of the financial statements. The audit committee then reviews and approves the final 990 in a meeting attended by committee members, njpac management and kpmg. After approval, a complete copy of the 990 is provided to the entire board of directors. The audit committee chair, chief financial officer and kpmg make themselves available for questions prior to the filing of the return with the irs.”

In addition, the conflict of interest policy is reviewed annually with officers, directors and key employees and the same are regularly reminded to disclose any changes.
