| IRS990/Description | 0 | Hyde Foundation staff oversees all aspects of the execution of the PCEP grant awarded to Hyde-DC as the LEA. This grant is implemented in the middle school of Hyde-DC, a school of approximately 250 children and 17 faculty, and the middle school of Hyde-Bronx, a school of approximately 200 children and 15 faculty. The project focuses on the training of teachers, parents and students in order to fully integrate character development into classroom practices with a well-developed partnership between home and school.Hyde Foundation staff delivers training for all new faculty at Hyde-DC, a school of 850 children spanning grades pre K-12. The head of school is coached personally in leadership and management by the Hyde Foundation staff. A member of the staff visits the school to observe the classrooms and meet with members of the leadership team once a month.Hyde Foundation staff delivers training for all new faculty at Hyde-Bronx, a school of 320 students in grades K, 1st, 6th, and 7th. Periodic training and self-discovery exercises are conducted for the faculty during the year.Hyde Foundation staff delivers training for all new faculty at Turning Point Academy, an elementary school of 500 students in grades K-5th. Periodic training in methods of integrating character development into the school curriculum is delivered throughout the year to a faculty of approximately 40. |
