Onb and 60 king qualify as organizations formed for charitable purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code ("irc") and are generally not subject to income tax. However, income from certain activities not directly related to the organizations' tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. In addition, these organizations were not determined to be private foundations. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the organization and has concluded that, as of december 31, 2024 there are no uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the consolidated financial statements. Generally, the organization's information or tax returns remain open for possible federal income tax examination for three years after the filing date. While no income tax returns are currently being examined by the internal revenue service, tax years since 2021 remain open.
