“By promoting a series of horse shows throughout the year, the organization fosters a competitive atmosphere for both members and non-members. By rewarding good horsemanship at individual shows, the organization encourages sportsmanship and care of the animals.”

“The annnual banquet provides an opportunity to recognize those who have achieved excellence in competition and sportsmanship, and also those who have demonstrated a notable devotion to the animals. The event celebrates the competitors and horses who worked hard throughout the year.”

“Education program - began a three phase program to promote sound riding skills and knowledge of correct horse care. The program includes a practicum, a written exam and a riding evaluation. In our first year we had 6 equestrians take the program and look to expand participation in the coming years.”
