A conference call was held with the audit committee, auditor and key staff at new jersey future to discuss the audit. During this call the audit committee approved the audit. The organization's form 990 was sent to the entire board along with the audit committee's recommendation to accept the audit. The board reviewed the 2013 990.”

“In december 2011, the executive director's performance was evaluated by the executive committee, key staff and the executive director himself for his work in 2011. Composite responses were discussed by the executive committee. Then the board chair met with the executive director to discuss his performance. During this process, the chair of the board of new jersey future, looked on guidestar's website and reviewed six other executive director's compensation. By comparing new jersey future's budget and influence on policy and looking at these other organizations, it appeared that new jersey future's executive director's base and total compensation is in-line with relevant peers. This process was documented in various places including the minutes and memorandums. There was no increase in salary during 2012 or 2013. The executive director did, however, receive a bonus during 2013 that was approved by the board president. There are no other officers or key employees of the organization, therefore line 15b is answered "no".”

“The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy,and financial statements available to the public upon request. This policy is noted in the annual report, which is available on the organization's website.”
