West broadway neighborhood association (wbna) (the association) is a rhode island organization whose mission is to organize its neighbors and businesses on the west side of providence to preserve and protect our diverse, historic, urban community as a safe, vibrant, and sustainable place to shop, work, eat, live and learn locally. The association's purpose is accomplished by working with government agencies, private foundations and other local organizations for the benefit of the common and public areas generally located in the west broadway area of providence, rhode island. The association educates the residents of the west broadway area in community improvement through meetings, workshops, grassroots programs, community development projects and other events. 1577 westminster street is an owned mixed use building that has green elements including solar panels, blown in insulation, high efficiency heating and white reflective roof. The ground floor is owned by the association.
