The organization has entered into a management agreement, approved by hud, with crm rental management, inc. To provide management services for the project. Management fees have been computed at a rate of 5.5% of gross rental collections. Management fees of $19,150 were expensed for the current fiscal year. The management arrangement has been approved by the board of directors.

Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The Company is a not-for-profit corporation classified within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Code Section 509(a)(1), organized on March 27, 1980 and is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and Section 402 of the New York State Not-for-Profit Corporation law. FASB has provided guidance for how uncertain tax positions should be recognized, measured, disclosed and presented in the financial statements. This requires the evaluation of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the course of preparing the entity's tax returns to determine whether the tax positions are more-likely-than-not of being sustained when challenged or when examined by the applicable taxing authority. Management has determined that there are no material uncertain income tax positions.
