“The Corp relies on volunteer members to join and serve in operating roles as EMTs, Drivers, Observers as well as serve in non operating roles supporting the activities of the Corp's administration, fundraising, social media, IT and communications. Membership classifications include EMT, Life, Honorary, Junior, Observer and Auxilary. Member statuses include probationary, active, inactive and leave of absence. All Members who are in good standing in accordance with the Corp operating ByLaws are eligible to vote at monthly meetings, special meetings and the bi-annual elections where Officers are selected and the Corp Leadership established.”

“Members elect administrative and operating officers who are charged with the responsibility to monitor and enforce Corp Bylaws and Operating protocols to ensure the safety of team members, the community and the safeguarding of Corp assets. These Corp operating documents include clear procedures to report incidents or violations of Corp rules. In addition, a formal Grievance Committee exists to review any Member's status involving suspension or termination. Finally, the Officers, Directors and Trustees self-certify annually.”

“As a public document, the Corp's Federal Form 990 is available upon request and also is published and available on public websites such as Guidestar.”

“Governing documents are posted on the Membership Portal and available to all active members. Financial statements and financial operating information are discussed and shared at regularly scheduled member meetings or available upon request by any member. In addition, the annual Federal tax filing is a public document available upon request or from third party websites such as Guidestar.”
