“Form 990 is reviewed by the president and vp of finance. Any questions or comments on the form 990 are discussed with the tax preparer. A complete copy of the form 990 is uploaded to a shared portal for the board review prior to filing with the irs.”
“The board of directors regularly and consistently monitors and enforces compliance with the conflict of interest. A copy of the policy is given to each officer and board member annually in september and each officer and board member is required to notify the board of directors of any conflicts. Potential or actual conflicts identified are considered on a case by case basis and could result in recusal from voting.”

“U.S. GAAP requires management to evaluate tax positions taken by the Organization and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if the Organization has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by applicable taxing authorities. For the years ended June 30, 2024 and 2023, the Organization has determined that no material uncertain tax positions qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the consolidated financial statements. There has been no tax related interest or penalties for the periods presented in these consolidated financial statements. The Organization does not expect the total amount of unrecognized tax benefits to significantly change in the next 12 months. The Organization recognizes interest and/or penalties related to income tax matters in income tax expense. The Organization did not have any amount accrued for interest and penalties at June 30, 2024 or 2023.”
