Mission

To establish and oversee places of worship, community and seminary centers, conduct the work of fellowship worldwide, create departments necessary to support fellowship activities and to license and oversee alexander foundation teachers and to engage in activities which are necessary, suitable or convenient for the acccmplishment of that purpose or which are incidental thereto or connected therewith, which are consistent with section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code.

APRIL 2ND DISCOVER LIFE FORCE, FOLKLORIC DANCE FESTIVAL A FOLKLORIC DANCE FESTIVAL BRINGING TOGETHER 11 COUNTRIES TO PRESENT THEIR TRADITIONAL FOLKLORIC DANCES, COSTUMES AND MUSIC. DANCERS REPRESENTING THEIR COUNTRIES WERE, BOLIVIA, CHILE, CHINA, HAITI, INDIA, MEXICO, NATIVE AMERICA, PERU, SPAIN, THAILAND AND VENEZUELA. THE DANCERS WERE PAID WITH THE FUNDS FROM THE GRANT. A PROMOTIONAL VIDEO WAS FUNDED ALONG WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AT THE EVENT AND DISTRIBUTED FREE TO ALL THE DANCERS TO HELP THEM PROMOTE THEIR WORK. THE FESTIVAL WAS HELD AT THE KOUBEK CENTER. IT WAS SOLD OUT. THE NITYANANDA CENTER RECEIVED FUNDING FROM MIAMI DADE CULTURAL ARTS AND SEVERAL LOCAL SPONSORS. THE MAYOR'S OFFICE GAVE THE NITYANANDA CENTER A SALUTE FOR OUR COMMUNITY WORK.THE FESTIVAL WAS FEATURED IN EL NUEVO HERALD AND LIVE ON SEVERAL LATIN TV STATIONS.EACH COUNTRIES EMBASSY HELPED TO PROMOTE THE EVENT. April 2nd discover life force, folkloric dance festival a folkloric dance festival bringing together 11 countries to present their traditional folkloric dances, costumes and music. Dancers representing their countries were, bolivia, chile, china, haiti, india, mexico, native america, peru, spain, thailand and venezuela. The dancers were paid with the funds from the grant. A promotional video was funded along with the photographs taken by a professional photographer at the event and distributed free to all the dancers to help them promote their work. The festival was held at the koubek center. It was sold out. The nityananda center received funding from miami dade cultural arts and several local sponsors. The mayor's office gave the nityananda center a salute for our community work.the festival was featured in el nuevo herald and live on several latin tv stations.each countries embassy helped to promote the event. Several large cultural organizations also promoted and supported the event. Local net offices also sent email blasts to all the net offices in miami. 10 week immanent health insight class series primal man. This class looked at the mythologies from primal human societies and how they influenced our modern world. January 27th to apriil 6.th organic gardening with gabriele marewski from paradise farms. Sept. 28th - november 3rd. This class introduced how to grow organic herbs. Many seeds and herbs were grown from this class and distributed free to the students. Healing ceremonies and retreats in paradise farms in homestead, miami. Spring, march 13th. Nov. 27th, thanksgiving. New years eve, dec. 31st. Annual bright kids summer camp june 13th - july 8th. Young people in the camp learned meditation, yoga, kung fu, dance drama, art, made videos, played basketball and went on field trips. Yucatan mayan retreat july 28th- aug. 7th. The group visited historic mayan cultural centers and participated in local cultural events.

DANCERS REPRESENTING THEIR COUNTRIES WERE, BOLIVIA, CHILE, CHINA, HAITI, INDIA, MEXICO, NATIVE AMERICA, PERU, SPAIN, THAILAND AND VENEZUELA. THE DANCERS WERE PAID WITH THE FUNDS FROM THE GRANT. A PROMOTIONAL VIDEO WAS FUNDED ALONG WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AT THE EVENT AND DISTRIBUTED FREE TO ALL THE DANCERS TO HELP THEM PROMOTE THEIR WORK. THE FESTIVAL WAS HELD AT THE KOUBEK CENTER. IT WAS SOLD OUT. THE NITYANANDA CENTER RECEIVED FUNDING FROM MIAMI DADE CULTURAL ARTS AND SEVERAL LOCAL SPONSORS. THE MAYOR'S OFFICE GAVE THE NITYANANDA CENTER A SALUTE FOR OUR COMMUNITY WORK.THE FESTIVAL WAS FEATURED IN EL NUEVO HERALD AND LIVE ON SEVERAL LATIN TV STATIONS.EACH COUNTRIES EMBASSY HELPED TO PROMOTE THE EVENT. SEVERAL LARGE CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS ALSO PROMOTED AND SUPPORTED THE EVENT. LOCAL NET OFFICES ALSO SENT EMAIL BLASTS TO ALL THE NET OFFICES IN MIAMI. 10 WEEK IMMANENT HEALTH INSIGHT CLASS SERIES PRIMAL MAN. THIS CLASS LOOKED AT THE MYTHOLOGIES FROM PRIMAL HUMAN SOCIETIES AND HOW THEY INFLUENCED OUR MODERN WORLD. JANUARY 27TH TO APRIIL 6.TH ORGANIC GARDENING WITH GABRIELE MAREWSKI FROM PARADISE FARMS. SEPT. 28TH - NOVEMBER 3RD. THIS CLASS INTRODUCED HOW TO GROW ORGANIC HERBS. MANY SEEDS AND HERBS WERE GROWN FROM THIS CLASS AND DISTRIBUTED FREE TO THE STUDENTS. HEALING CEREMONIES AND RETREATS IN PARADISE FARMS IN HOMESTEAD, MIAMI. SPRING, MARCH 13TH. NOV. 27TH, THANKSGIVING. NEW YEARS EVE, DEC. 31ST. ANNUAL BRIGHT KIDS SUMMER CAMP JUNE 13TH - JULY 8TH. YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE CAMP LEARNED MEDITATION, YOGA, KUNG FU, DANCE DRAMA, ART, MADE VIDEOS, PLAYED BASKETBALL AND WENT ON FIELD TRIPS. YUCATAN MAYAN RETREAT JULY 28TH- AUG. 7TH. THE GROUP VISITED HISTORIC MAYAN CULTURAL CENTERS AND PARTICIPATED IN LOCAL CULTURAL EVENTS.
