“Training and performance: 50 students were educated in physical conditioning, dance technique and choreography; thereby improving physical fitness and confidence. The students earn physical education and performing arts high school credit. The coaches for jazz, hip hop and a team advisor are paid by the dance team through fountain valley high school.”

“Summer camp: for the 2015-16 season, 29 students attended an invitaion only elite plus dance camp and a hip hop camp in thousand oaks with other students from southern california high schools. This dance intensive three day camp helps facilitate team bonding through attending choreography classes, completing activities and performing as a group.”

“Competitions: 48 students competed in 10 regional and national competitions throughout the 2015-16 season. The fees include competition registration, costumes and celebration banquet. Fvhs team has earned a well deserved award winning reputation as a competitive team in southern california.”
