“Western iowa dairy alliance is an organization of dairy producers and industry partners in western iowa that promotes dairy business in three ways; consumer outreach, producer education and member communications.”

“Western iowa dairy alliance (wida) promotes dairy business using three primary categories; consumer outreach, producer education and member communications. Consumer outreach is achieved by hosting a dairy month open house, maintaining wida's website and facebook pages, supporting community events and youth programs, hosting the know your milk tour and hosting booths at the clay county fair dairy day and the siouxland home show. Producer education and support is done through annual meetings, a social media workshop, employee management and communication workshops, sponsor education opportunities for members, representing members on local, state and industry association events and committees, providing producers with information and input opportunities on policy and legislation and hosting the vision 2020 ag summit. Member communication is done through newsletter and email updates to members.”
