IRS990/Desc0Scholarship ProgramThe Foundation of Tomorrow's (TFFT) Scholarship Program set out to harness a hopeful trajectory for Tanzania's youngest. In 2024, we have supported 97 children with educational scholarships. TFFT witnesses scholars flourishing academically, mentally, and socially. In our view, success isn't one set outcome, but rather the growth of a scholar into an educationally well-equipped, physically and mentally healthy, and productive member of society.(Continued on Schedule O)Our Scholarship Program focuses on depth through academic support, personalized developmental guidance, health and psychosocial support. A central tenet of TFFT's work is that success looks different for each student and we use a Whole Child Approach to take into account the diverse ways individuals learn and grow. We support students from their entry into our educational program in pre-kindergarten, to their graduations from secondary school, and to the start of their careers. We provide for students' varying needs through our health and psychosocial program, our career coaching and mentoring program, and our alumni development program. Our wrap-around programs are designed to address the holistic needs of our students, ensuring they are healthy and well-prepared as they navigate their educational paths and transition into adulthood.Parents and GuardiansTFFT's Scholarship Program includes the supporting and strengthening of scholars' families through parent and guardian training sessions. Positive Parenting Training provides scholars' parents and guardians with the ability to support students and foster better practices for raising physically and mentally healthy children.Health and Psychological Well-BeingBecause we recognize that learning does not happen in a vacuum and both physical and emotional wellbeing influence the learning process, our Health and Psychosocial Program is a critical component of our Whole Childapproach. We provide health insurance, health care, and counseling for all scholars. Because many scholars come from extremely vulnerable households, they are in need of extra support to bolster their wellbeing. We continue to deepen our commitment to scholars' holistic care and building resilience through programs and interventions. Parents are educated on positive parenting to compliment the psychosocial support the scholars receive, and we work to develop scholars' leadership skills to foster engagement in community service.Career Coaching and MentoringThroughout each step of a TFFT scholar's educational journey, we provide personalized guidance, coaching, and mentoring. We believe that success takes many forms and looks different for everyone. Because of this, we combine unique support methods and a student-centered mentoring program to create bright pathways towards success for each scholar.It is important we all fill the void of the life lessons typically taught in a healthy home environment. We seek to provide our scholars with an education that allows them to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. TFFT's Career Coaching and Mentoring Program underpins our work with our scholars and teachers, reaching into the community. Our programs teach social-emotional development, essential life skills, stretches students' imagination, fuels their dreams, builds confidence, and deepens personal understanding. This empowers participants to become independent, compassionate adults, who are able to lead productive lives and are prepared to work collaboratively with their communities to address the issues facing their country.Through our alumni support program, TFFT continues to cultivate the skills and interests of our scholars after they graduate from our program, by providing on-going leadership training, supporting their growth through access to career opportunities that generate success. We work to fulfill our mission in two ways: by providing access to education for orphaned and vulnerable children and by training teachers to improve the quality of education in Tanzanian classrooms.

This is all done via educational programming in Tanzania. Funds are distributed monthly based off an annual implementation plan. Reconciliation forms and completed P&L statements are required on a monthly payment for additional funds to be sent over. Our new initiative The Community Learning Centre will expand and strengthen TFFT's commitment to the students, teachers, families, and communities that we have been working with for over 18 years. TFFT has a proven track record in Tanzania, developing sustainable pathways toward opportunity. The Community Learning Centre's participatory environment will bolster TFFT's existing programs, engage the entire community, and ignite lifelong learners. The need for quality education in Tanzania is more clear and urgent than ever, and transformative change must start at the community level. TFFT intends to further address root causes of educational barriers, extending impact to the broader community. This new endeavor will foster healthy and productive communities of people who represent a positive future for their nation and hope for our world. The Community Learning Centre is designed in partnership with the local government and with the support of our most steadfast partners.
