“Pensacola's promise operates a program called chain reaction (cr). Chain reaction contracts a cpa to prepare the form 990 with input and documentation provided by the executive director. Once the draft is complete, it is reviewed by the executive director and then shared with the board of directors, including the board treasurer, prior to filing. Board members are given adequate time to review and ask questions. Once all feedback is received, the executive director signs and submits the form 990. The finalized form 990 is then uploaded to the organizations website for public access.”
