“On April 17, 2025, Park Place Ministries conducted an Easter Bag distribution for children attending daycare centers in the Homestead community. The event was hosted at the church, where families were invited to receive the bags. This outreach supported local childcare providers and promoted community engagement. Park Place Ministries hosted a Spring Easter Egg Hunt in the local park for children in the community. This outreach supported youth enrichment and community connection. Park Place Ministries was a participant in the Homestead Borough sponsored Community Day, Saturday, August 2, 2025. Park Place Ministries distributed a variety of children's books and book holder to encourage children to develop a love for reading; the use of their imaginations and hopefully, the development of cognitive skills that benefit the reader as a life-long reader and learner. On this day, Park Place Ministries also sponsored a "Paint & Sip" creative arts activity for children ages 5 to 10. This initiative is designed to foster artistic expression, promote creative thinking and visual learning, build community engagement among families, and provide a safe, enriching environment for the youth.”
