Through humanitarian mentoring, grant-support, and capacity- building, we enable christian leaders to be effective agents of christ's love in their communities.”

“Kcds has provided financial and spiritual support for christian communities of the dalit/untouchables of south india for the past 20 years. Our partner in south india, pastor jonathan, manages 5 children's centers with 150 children, 10 pastors and 2 staff members providing faith, education, nutrition, economic opportunity, and dignity to a group of people - christians, muslims and hindus - who are beaten, spit upon and often die for their faith in god maeve hedstrom, kcds media manager, traveled to india feb 9 - 28/2024 to slums in children's centers in india to evaluate impact of support and any need for modification in giving, for prayer and well-being of 500+ beneficiaries of giving in guntur, including 150 children, parents/families, workers/staff of guntur charity new direction of giving: after considerable prayer and working with a non- profit advisor in may, kcds committed to a new initiative to develop 2 sustainable enterprises, shifting giving to a "hand up" vs a "hand out" - this offers them and their community both independence and dignity: saffron project and embroidery project. These nigerian muslim christians are extremely persecuted and their lives are always in danger for their beliefs. Muslim extremists including boko haram and other groups seek the lives of the workers there whom we support. In 2024, the pres and vp traveled to slums in children's centers in india to evaluate impact of support and any need for modification in giving, for prayer and well-being of 500+ beneficiaries of giving: guntur, chennai, and andaman islands after considerable prayer and working with a non-profit advisor in may, kcds committed to an additional initiative to develop sustainable enterprise in the andaman islands, working with pastor george and 7 churches/pastors he supports. Pastor george and his community, who are low-caste hindus who have chosen to follow jesus, are beaten and sometimes killed for their faith one of our projects is to buy a 22000 van for tourism purposes. With the funds they receive, they can support their own ministries and will not depend on monthly giving. This offers them and their community both independence and dignity. Working with dr. Arumugam chandrasekaran, heart-transplant specialist, kcds provided funds for young hindu boy on waiting list for heart transplant to receive a new heart”
