HUDSON HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR DAY--THIS PROGRAM IS A DAY-LONG SEMINAR FOR GRADUATING SENIORS. VARIOUS "LIFE" TOPICS INCLUDING SIGING CONTRACTS, FIRE SAFETY, DATE RAPE, ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, DEPRESSION AND HOMESICKNESS ARE ADDRESSED BY OUTSIDE PROFESSIONALS. OPEN DISCUSSION AND MINI PULL OUT SPEAKERS ARE ALSO PART OF THE DAY. GIVEWAWAYS AND LUNCH IS PROVIDED AS PART OF THE PROGRAM. THERE WERE 409 SENIORS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM WHICH IS ALMOST ALL OF THE CLASS.-$10,796
CAREER PANEL/INTERN FOR A DAY--TO PROVIDE STUDENTS AND PARENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR LOCAL PROFESSIONALS SHARE THEIR CAREER EXPERIENCES AND ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO SIGN UP TO INTERN FOR A DAY WITH ONE OF THE PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. INVOLVED ABOUT 200 STUDENTS AND PARENTS.-$10,671

Take a second make a difference--a city-wide program that emphasizes the importance of connecting with others. The program challenges adults to go the extra step to make a difference for even a moment in a child's life. The effort involves the entire community: merchants, schools, youth, parents and neighbors. Over 6,000 hudson youth are impacted by the program. Nine schools and more than 5,000 adults are involved. The program culminates with a luncheon recognizing adults and youth who have truly made a difference in the community.

Career panel/intern for a day--to provide students and parents the opportunity to hear local professionals share their career experiences and encourage students to sign up to intern for a day with one of the professional organizations. Involved about 200 students and parents.

Hudson high school senior day--this program is a day-long seminar for graduating seniors. Various "life" topics including siging contracts, fire safety, date rape, alcohol and drugs, depression and homesickness are addressed by outside professionals. Open discussion and mini pull out speakers are also part of the day. Givewaways and lunch is provided as part of the program. There were 409 seniors who participated in the program which is almost all of the class.

THE EFFORT INVOLVES THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY: MERCHANTS, SCHOOLS, YOUTH, PARENTS AND NEIGHBORS. OVER 6,000 HUDSON YOUTH ARE IMPACTED BY THE PROGRAM. NINE SCHOOLS AND MORE THAN 5,000 ADULTS ARE INVOLVED. THE PROGRAM CULMINATES WITH A LUNCHEON RECOGNIZING ADULTS AND YOUTH WHO HAVE TRULY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE COMMUNITY.

VARIOUS "LIFE" TOPICS INCLUDING SIGING CONTRACTS, FIRE SAFETY, DATE RAPE, ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, DEPRESSION AND HOMESICKNESS ARE ADDRESSED BY OUTSIDE PROFESSIONALS. OPEN DISCUSSION AND MINI PULL OUT SPEAKERS ARE ALSO PART OF THE DAY. GIVEWAWAYS AND LUNCH IS PROVIDED AS PART OF THE PROGRAM. THERE WERE 409 SENIORS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM WHICH IS ALMOST ALL OF THE CLASS.
