The marketing services program serves a metropolitan area of 620,000 residents and a visitor domain that receives approximately 3.2 million visitors per year. Downtown mobile alliance provides information and materials that promote events, attractions and activities, economic and business development opportunities, and residential options. As a member organization, dma is able to provide promotion and advocacy services to hundreds of downtown businesses and non-profit corporations.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

The economic development and research services program sponsors events that bring together the business community and community leaders, as well as community events that bring hundreds of families to the downtown area. Dma's economic development effort also includes a package of retail incentives designed to encourage new merchants to open shops downtown and provides assistance to those new businesses in navigating the city's permitting process. Dma also funds studies and assessments to guide property owners, business owners, and policymakers as they plan for an environmentally sustainable downtown.
