Side by side inc. Is a cooperative effort of ecumenical and secular agencies. Said corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific and religious purposes, including. For such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponing section of any future federal tax code. To the extent consistent with the above purposes, the purpose of this corporation shall include, but not limited to the following. A. Provide emergency goods and services on a short term basis to needy persons who do not qualify for service by, or whose needs cannot be met entirely by existing agencies. B. Provide a central agency for referral and/or distribution of goods and services that would help eliminate duplication of efforts while reducing fraudulent use of helping services through a comprehensive information file on agencies, referrals services and users.
