“The foundation sponsored three major fund raising activities in 2016: shake your caboose event, native american rug auction and rat on the stick booth at the renaissance faire. These events were very special in raising funds for the benefit of the foundation and each of the museums. The foundation also sponsored the senior high school art show and purchased three art works from the ground up show for the museum permanent collection. The foundation was one of the sponsors for a appreciation event for museum volunteers, and sponsored an informal holiday luncheon for museum staff and volunteers.”
