“No sale of property and all remains in about the same condition. We have a donated Honda Civic as well as the furniture in the orphanage in Zambia. We have several bunk beds, and other furniture such as living room, which help our children to live comfortably. We have not increased in furniture this year and there have been no major damages. All of it is aged and mostly functional, so no major depreciation either. We have a donated vehicle that was in working condition. It needed repairs and a cleaning, which were managed by a volunteer who cleaned the car and kept it in working condition. At the end of the year, the car was in better condition, but probably not increased in value. The extra attentions balanced out the usual depreciation.”

“We only had one donor make a donation of over $5000 this year, and that was KT and Cynthia Toney, and their yearly donations totaled $5050. We usually keep our status by the 331/3 rule, but are confused as to what is being asked, so we are making sure to share this information, just in case there is something different between the general rule and the special rule. We do qualify under the general rule as well.”
