“Form 990 is presented to the finance committee for review and approval for accuracy and completeness. The board of directors then receive a copy of form 990 to review before the return is filed.”

“The organization monitors and enforces compliance with the conflict of interest policy by requiring all board members to disclose any conflicts of interest. If a board member is presented with a conflict of interest that board member must disclose the conflict and refrain from voting on matters related to that conflict.”

“The organization makes it's governing documents, conflict of interest policy and financial information available to the public upon request.”

“During 2013 the organization started its image campaign called trucking moves america forward. Trucking moves america foward is an industry (trucking) wide effort to improve the image of the trucking industry. Trucking moves america forward brings together all sectors of the trucking industry-state and national trucking associations, trucking companies, and all those that serve the trucking industry. This five year campaign will spend over $1 million dollars each year to engage policy makers, industry professionals, and the public so they can learn more about how trucking contributes to the nation's economy, infrastructure, and the everyday lives of all americans.”
