“Additional information was found when records were reconciled with a review that was done in the agency. The orginial tax information did not include the additional information and thus we need to amend the tax return. The tax return was accidently filed, beliving that it had been properly reviewed and information was correct. There was no intent not to file properly. Effort was made to file corrctly and timely, however the wrong financial statment was mistakenly used. Please accept this amended tax return. Review practice and education on how to read and compare a tax return to financial inforamtion has been accomplished. Steps are in place to assure this does not happen again. The changes included both income and expenses. Income changed from 43,691 to 271,657. It was discovered that the income had not been properly recorded in the accounting system. The expenses changed from 49,082 to total expneses of 204,344. Income had been offset to some of the expenses. This has been corrected. The net result is a income of 67,313 for 2020 compared to a 10,014 loss on the original return. Again, there was no intent not to file properly; information for the tax return was provided however it was incorrect and discovered that it was not recorded correctly. Changes have been made to correct this situation and steps to educate all involved have been implicated.”

We continued to insure regional access to the chelan douglas trends communinty indicators platform. We hosted the 3rd annual ncw regional ecomomic forum to highlight examples of innovation and effective partnerships that are solving challenges that impact the regional ecomonic outcomes. We have launched the supernova business launch competition to help create and expand small businesses througout north central washington with a focus on barriers to employment and social determinants of health.”
