Last year our social worker had a little over 900 engagements with guests through direct services. She along with two social work interns assisted guests with applying for snap benefits, medicaid applications, and employment assistance. They helped individuals with matters regarding social security benefits, gathered documents to obtain birth certificates and state identification cards and also completed intake for our financial assistance program. Through this program, we contributed more than 14,002.50 to 64 individuals to help with prescriptions, rent, electricity payments and water service. Our mail coordinator registered 328 new persons in 2024. During the year, the agency's mail program reached 794 registrants with an average of 370 persons checking their mail each month. Our agency provided birth certificates for 66 guests and 337 state identification cards in order to gain access to housing and employment. We provided over 30,000 snacks and over 38,000 lunches through our meal program. Further, we distributed 2,934 grocery bags and toiletry items to an average of 122 families per month.

SHE ALONG WITH TWO SOCIAL WORK INTERNS ASSISTED GUESTS WITH APPLYING FOR SNAP BENEFITS, MEDICAID APPLICATIONS, AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE. THEY HELPED INDIVIDUALS WITH MATTERS REGARDING SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS, GATHERED DOCUMENTS TO OBTAIN BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND STATE IDENTIFICATION CARDS AND ALSO COMPLETED INTAKE FOR OUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, WE CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN 14,002.50 TO 64 INDIVIDUALS TO HELP WITH PRESCRIPTIONS, RENT, ELECTRICITY PAYMENTS AND WATER SERVICE. OUR MAIL COORDINATOR REGISTERED 328 NEW PERSONS IN 2024. DURING THE YEAR, THE AGENCY'S MAIL PROGRAM REACHED 794 REGISTRANTS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 370 PERSONS CHECKING THEIR MAIL EACH MONTH. OUR AGENCY PROVIDED BIRTH CERTIFICATES FOR 66 GUESTS AND 337 STATE IDENTIFICATION CARDS IN ORDER TO GAIN ACCESS TO HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT. WE PROVIDED OVER 30,000 SNACKS AND OVER 38,000 LUNCHES THROUGH OUR MEAL PROGRAM. FURTHER, WE DISTRIBUTED 2,934 GROCERY BAGS AND TOILETRY ITEMS TO AN AVERAGE OF 122 FAMILIES PER MONTH.
