THE SOCIETY HOLDS THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING FOR STUDENTS, RESIDENTS, FELLOWS AND ATTENDING SURGEONS TO HIGHLIGHT NEW TECHNOLOGIES, NEW TREATMENT MODALITIES AND NEW TECHNIQUES IN PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY. IN ADDITION, THE PROGRAM SERVES TO EDUCATE THESE INDIVIDUALS ON PATIENT SAFETY TOPICS AND RESEARCH OCCURRING WITHIN THE REGION THEREBY EXPANDING THE BREADTH AND SCOPE OF PLASTIC SURGEONS. Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

The society holds the annual scientific meeting for students, residents, fellows and attending surgeons to highlight new technologies, new treatment modalities and new techniques in plastic and reconstructive surgery. In addition, the program serves to educate these individuals on patient safety topics and research occurring within the region thereby expanding the breadth and scope of plastic surgeons. The meeting also provides continuing education programs and exhibits displaying new products and services to its 90 members.
