The board members will review all financial data for accuracy.

IRS990/Desc0HOME AWARD PROGRAM - BUILDING HOMES FOR HEROES BUILDS, GIFTS, MODIFIES, AND BEAUTIFIES HOMES FOR INJURED VETERANS WITH SEVERE PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WOUNDS, AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILIES, INCLUDING GOLD STAR FAMILIES AND FIRST RESPONDERS. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDE A GROWING RANGE OF SUPPORT SERVICES TO HELP THEM BUILD BETTER AND BRIGHTER LIVES AND REACH NEW HEIGHTS. THESE MORTGAGE-FREE HOMES NOT ONLY HELP TO REMOVE THE FAMILY'S FINANCIAL BURDEN, BUT THEY ALSO HELP TO RESTORE THE INDIVIDUAL'S FREEDOM, AND ENABLE THE VETERAN TO LEAD A MORE INDEPENDENT AND PRODUCTIVE CIVILIAN LIFE. THESE HOMES ARE CONSTRUCTED, CUSTOMIZED AND BEAUTIFIED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PHYSICALLY OR PSYCHOLOGICALLY DISABLED VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES, TO HELP IMPROVE THEIR DAY-TO-DAY QUALITY OF LIFE AND TO LEAD A HOPEFUL AND PROMISING FUTURE AHEAD. ON AVERAGE, THE ORGANIZATION REACHED THE EXTRAORDINARY ACHIEVEMENT OF MORE THAN ONE HOME EVERY 11 DAYS FOR A TWELFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR IN 2024, INCLUDING OUR MILESTONE 400TH HOME SINCE INCEPTION. THE ORGANIZATION PLANS TO REACH 40 HOMES ONCE AGAIN IN 2025 (GREATER THAN ONE HOME EVERY 11 DAYS), WITH HIGH HOPES TO REACH AS MANY AS 50 HOMES A NEW RECORD PLUS OUR MILESTONE 500TH HOME BEFORE THE END OF 2026. WE'VE FOUND THAT THE GIFT OF A MORTGAGE-FREE HOME PROVIDES PERMANENT STABILITY AND A LIFE-CHANGING FOUNDATION FOR THE VETERAN TO PURSUE THEIR DREAMS, PROFESSIONALLY, ACADEMICALLY AND RECREATIONALLY, THAT THEY MIGHT NEVER HAVE IMAGINED FOLLOWING THEIR INJURIES, AND SETS THEM ON A PATH TOWARDS IMPROVING THEIR PHYSICAL HEALTH AND MENTAL WELLNESS ON A LONG ROAD TO RECOVERY. AS WELL, IT'S A GENERATIONAL GIFT THAT ALLOWS THE CHILDREN OF THE FAMILIES TO CREATE STABILITY IN THEIR LIFE AND ONE DAY INHERIT THE HOME. IT'S TRULY AN HONOR TO SERVE THE AMAZING MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE COURAGEOUSLY SERVED AND SACRIFICED SO MUCH FOR ALL OF US, AND FOR OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND FINANCIAL WELLNESS - BUILDING HOMES FOR HEROES GOES WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND TO SUPPORT OUR VETERANS AND OUR FIRST RESPONDERS BY PROVIDING A FUNDAMENTAL BASIS FOR FAMILY CONNECTIVITY, HOPE AND HEALING, CAMARADERIE, COMMUNICATION AND PROMISE TOWARDS THEIR PHYSICAL HEALTH AND MENTAL WELL-BEING.ONE MAJOR ASPECT OF THIS IS IN 2024 WAS OUR GROWING PROGRAMS TO HELP WITH PHYSICAL HEALTH AND MENTAL WELLNESS. RANGING FROM TRADITIONAL TO INNOVATIVE SUPPORT, WE WERE ABLE TO SUPPORT MORE THAN 2,500 HEROES IN 2024 ALONE, WITH THE HOPE TO SUPPORT MORE THAN 5,000 HEROES IN 2025. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, WE SPONSORED HUNDREDS OF WORKSHOPS AND RETREATS ACROSS THE COUNTRY THAT TRAINED VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS WITH ESSENTIAL SKILLS THAT AIM TO IMPROVE THEIR EVERY-DAY WELL-BEING, THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND EVERY DAY HEALTH, THEIR PHYSICAL FITNESS, AND THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. WE HAVE SUPPORTED VETERANS TO CLIMB THE WORLD'S TALLEST MOUNTAINS, AND WINNING MEDALS IN THE WARRIOR GAMES, INVICTUS GAMES AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS. ONE OF OUR BIGGEST EVENTS WE HOSTED IN IN 2024 WAS OUR 6TH ANNUAL TEAM BUILDING EVENT, BRINGING TOGETHER HUNDREDS OF OUR VETERAN HOME RECIPIENTS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS FOR THREE DAYS AND NIGHTS OF FAMILY FUN, FRIENDLY COMPETITION, CONNECTIVITY, NEW FRIENDSHIPS, SPIRITED CAMARADERIE AND A LIFETIME OF HEALING THAT OUR VETERANS CONTINUE TO RAVE ABOUT. THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN EXTRAORDINARILY HELPFUL TOWARDS HELPING VETERANS REUNITE AND REGAIN THEIR MILITARY CAMARADERIE WITH THEIR FELLOW SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN AND ALSO HELPS THEM UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE NOT DEFINED BY THEIR INJURES, BUT HOW THEY CAN OVERCOME THEM. WITH MORE SUPPORT, WE HOPE TO FURTHER GROW THIS PROGRAM ON A NATIONAL SCALE. WITH RECENT REPORTS INDICATING UP TO 23 VETERAN SUICIDES A DAY, WE RECOGNIZE JUST HOW VITAL THESE PROGRAMS ARE. THEY NOT ONLY SUPPORT OUR VETERANS NOW BUT ALSO HELP PAVE THE WAY FOR A BETTER AND BRIGHTER FUTURE AHEAD FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0ACADEMIC SUPPORT, EMERGENCY FUNDING AND FINANCIAL ADVISOR GUIDANCE - OUR GOAL IS TO ALWAYS EMPOWER OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES SO THEY SURVIVE AND THRIVE. WITH ECONOMIC CHALLENGES CAUSING FAMILIES NATIONWIDE TO STRUGGLE, OUR EMERGENCY FUNDING PROGRAM ALLOWS US TO HELP VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS DURING DIFFICULT FINANCIAL TIMES, AS WELL ASSUDDEN LIFE-ALTERING MOMENTS IN THEIR LIVES. THESE MOMENTS CAN INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE LOSS OF JOB, AN ILLNESS, OR A MAJOR REPAIR NEEDED FROM DISASTROUS WEATHER EVENTS SUCH AS HURRICANES, TORNADOES AND FLOODING.
