“Aperio lead a national consortium of organiations who funded the creation of a newly commissioned work titled "fires unquiet within' written for violin, cello, and orchestra by american composer, kevin day. Aperio presented the world premiere of this new work in houston at a free concert at miller outdoor theatre to an audience of approximately 2,000 attendees on june 25, 2025. Miller outdoor theatre is houston's larget city-owned public venue which attracts visitors from across southeast texas and the houston metropolitan area. This new piece will receive four additional persormances throughout the united states thanks to the partnerships which aperio spearheaded with other presenting organizations, including boston college symphony, rhode island philharmonic, portsmouth symphony, and kinetic ensemble.”
