“Part iii, organizations primary exempt purpose to restore the tulsa route 66 main street southwest blvd corridor, as the cultural, educational and economic backbone of the community. Part iii, line 28 statement of program service accomplishments main street applied for and was awarded two separate grants totaling $240,000 to help drive traffic to the area in support of local businesses and property owners. $15,000 aarp health grant for installation of a walking path in the corridor. $225,000 route 66 revitalization reimbursable grant for cleanup and improvements to the corridor. Part iii, line 29 statement of service accomplishments increased budgeting for enhanced promotion with the corridor, including billboards, print advertising, web development and co-promotion via social media. Part iii, line 30 statement of service accomplishments to improve the economic outlook of business and property owners in our 4.5 mile corridor, main street established and advisory council with targeted expertise in business recruitment and development. Additionally, our organization created and distributed a business survey to every business in the corridor to ensure understanding of the benefits offered by the program and garner their concerns and ideas for future development.”
