Financial Statement Notes

PART IV, LINE 2B:

Aggateway implements various projects based on members' interest in a project. After adequate interest is shown for a project, contributions, from members who are interested in getting the project implemented, are requested. Each project costs a certain amount of money. The members who participate in the project decide how the cost is divided up. Sometimes it is spread out equally, while other times they may divide the costs according to the size of the companies involved. It is the members' decision. Revenue and expenses associated with the project are recognized as the revenue is received and the expense is recognized as it is incurred. The net balance gets carried over to the next year under the project liability account. This balance is carried over because most projects can last for over one or more years. Once a project is completed, the remaining funds are owed back to the members who contributed to the project. The members can opt to get these left over funds as reimbursements or they can choose to add it to their trust liability account balances. Members look at the trust liability accounts as their equity in aggateway and rarely ask for a check back if the project funds are excessive. They can use these balances to pay for their membership dues or other aggateway fees. There is no consistency from member to member or from year to year for how these funds are used, therefore, the balances in this account may increase or may decrease over time.

PART X, LINE 2:

Aggateway corporation believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements or that would have an effect on its tax-exempt status. There are no unrecognized tax benefits or liabilities that need to be recorded.

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0AGGATEWAY IMPLEMENTS VARIOUS PROJECTS BASED ON MEMBERS' INTEREST IN A PROJECT.
IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt1AGGATEWAY CORPORATION BELIEVES THAT IT HAS APPROPRIATE SUPPORT FOR ANY TAX POSITIONS TAKEN, AND AS SUCH, DOES NOT HAVE ANY UNCERTAIN TAX POSITIONS THAT ARE MATERIAL TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OR THAT WOULD HAVE AN EFFECT ON ITS TAX-EXEMPT STATUS. THERE ARE NO UNRECOGNIZED TAX BENEFITS OR LIABILITIES THAT NEED TO BE RECORDED.
