Mission

Rainier Beach Action Coalition is a grassroot, Black-led organization devoted to locally driven development. It promotes quality education, living wage jobs, affordable transportation and housing, and building community capacity in Seattle's Rainier Beach.

To enhance quality of life of rainier beach residents by addressing the critical issues that face them.

Rbac personnel committee has conducted a review of not-for-profit salary studies and arrived at levels for its managing strategist (executive director) and all other rbac positions. An annual performance review is conducted and compensation is based on performance. Cost of living increase is provided, if employee significantly exceeds expectations on a give responsibility a 10% increase is considered as it is for every other responsibility that significantly exceeds expectations.

THE RESULTS OF TWO PARTNERSHIPS HAVE SUPPOSED 50 PUBLIC COMMUNITY SAFETY EVENTS THAT HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO AN INCREASE IN THE REDUCTION OF CRIME IN THE RAINIER BEACH NEIGHBORHOOD AND A GREATER AWARENESS OF PUBLIC SAFETY EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF RAINIER BEACH RESIDENTS.
