IRS990/Desc0As a primarily mission organization, MSN helped 19 missionaries this year fulfill their calling to train, evangelize, reach those trapped in poverty, and assist refugees in war-torn countries. MSN provides prayer, counseling, training, and housing costs. Some of our missionaries live and serve in extraordinary circumstances. For example, this year one of our missionaries provided food, clothing, and other assistance to refugees in a drought-striken area of Kenya. Two others offered counseling and training for women and helped raise additional funds to support the poor. Another missionary assisted in establishing a widows support program. Others developed devotional materials to equip and encourage women in their faith. Our supported missionaries do incredible things in the U.S. and abroad because of our support.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0In Kenya, Africa, MSNs primary focus is outreach, caring for pastors/leaders and their families, and assisting at-risk children. This year we provided housing, food, and equipment for many poor rural pastors. We provided resources, including school supplies and equipment, fuel, and transportation for 112 house churches. In Eldoret, Kenya, we provided education assistance for orphans and established a widows program near the Ugandan border. Many of these women have been widowed due to AIDS. We teach them practical life skills that will empower them to earn a living and care for their children.
