“The school is active in cultural education within and without the school through conducting cultural programs and events for public. Within school, many traditional ceremonies and school events are conducted to teach children the Japanese customs. The school starts with an entrance/opening ceremony in April in Japanese style. Then each of three semesters starts and ends with ceremonies just as schools in Japan. In October, the school conducts a Field Day with the games and competitions typically performed in Japan, with participation of student's family. In February, the school conducts "Presentation of Learned Materials," in which each class makes presentation of what they have learned throughout the year. The school year ends in March with the end of year ceremony and graduation cremonies for Kindergarten, Elemenary, and Middle school graduates.”

“The school is very active in community to promote and support Japanese art, education, and traditions of Japan. In November, the parents and students of the school perform perform and volunteer at Orlando Japan Festival, which is run by Japan Association of Orlando, Inc, a Public Charity Organization. The Festival showcases Japanese traditional performing arts such as Japanese dance, Taiko drums, and Koto instrument as well as traditional vending booths and games that are replica of the festivals in Japan.”

The Aniversary ceremonies included all the current faculties, students and families, Independent (3rd Party) committeee members, and the special guests. The school published a special "20th Year Book" that contained all the current students' drawings and essays.”
