Supplemental Narrative

Additional Explanations

Form 990, Part XII, Line 2C

The board of directors assumes responsibility for oversight of the audit of its financial statements and selection of an independent accountant. The oversight process and selection process have not changed during the tax year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The internal revenue service ("irs") has classified bdt as exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code ("code"); as an organization, contributions to which are deductible under section 170(c) of the code; and as an organization that is not a private foundation as defined in section 509(a) of the code. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken and recognize a tax liability, if bdt has taken an uncertain tax position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by a government authority. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by bdt and has concluded that as of december 31, 2014 and 2013, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the financial statements. Bdt recognizes accrued interest and penalties associated with uncertain tax positions, if any. There were no income tax related interest and penalties recorded for the years ended december 31, 2014 and 2013. The tax returns of bdt for the years ended december 31, 2011 through 2014 are or will be subject to examination by the irs and other various taxing authorities, generally for three years after they are filed.
