“More than 1000 volunteers and supporters have engaged with awbs for positive impact through design locally in seattle, and in more than a dozen countries internationally. In 2020 awbs adjusted operations to keep our volunteers and community safe during the covid-19 pandemic. Volunteers have provided design services for access to education in liberia, and community health care facilities in sierra leone. Awbs volunteers also gave time to support safe and dignified housing for people experiencing homelessness in seattle in collaboration with the block project.”
