The review is headed by the vp of managed care, christy bracewell, of the related organization, yakima valley farm workers clinic, who goes over the return in detail and answers the committee members questions.”
“The conflict of interest policy covers directors, officers and employees. If a responsible person (any person serving as an officer, employee, committee member of the board of directors) has a potential conflict of interest, he/she shall disclose the circumstances to the co-chairs who shall determine whether there exists a conflict of interest that is subject to the policy. A person who knows he/she has a conflict of interest shall not participate in the board's discussions of the matter except to disclose material facts and respond to questions. A person who is known to have a conflict of interest with respect to a contract or transaction that will be voted on at a meeting shall not be counted in determining the presence of a quorum for purposes of the vote. Management has evaluated the clinic's tax positions and concluded that the clinic had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustments to the consolidated financial statements. The clinic is no longer subject to income tax examinations by tax authorities for years before 2011.”
