Cutler memorial building, home to one of the theatre's partners, the jaffrey woman's club. Trustees continued their collaboration with the performing artists in the region to mount theatrical programs, and in april, the theatre joined with the monadnock international film festival, a nonprofit organization based in keene, to present a rarely-seen russian silent film accompanied by a live, virtuoso instrumental performance on the site of the future facility. In the autumn, the park theatre offered its family film series - saturdays at the cinema - during the three months, september through november. The first two evenings screened the sting and superman - the movie. The theatrical season concluded with the annual salute to veterans with the showing of "objective burma", the action story depicting the united states forward based soldiers in the south pacific. As always, special entertainment was provided as part of the theatre's recognition of the service to our country by area veterans. The theatre's annual movies and collaborative programs have brought over 10,006 patrons to downtown jaffrey solely for programs presented by the park theatre since 2007. The theatre also continued to participate in the town's annual community celebration, riverfest, which draws hundreds of people into the downtown area. During riverfest, trustees conducted tours of the facility with lectures on history of the building. The park theatre held its annual meeting in december to report to the community about its plans and progress, which this year included a special theatrical reading of a recently-published letters between two jaffrey sisters separated by marriage and the civil war. Louise curran and bernie watson, husband and wife pianists from jaffrey, performed holiday music for the standing-room-only crowd. Trustees continued to work the town's planning board and zoning board of adjustment to institute necessary modifications to the building and site plans to meet local and state ordinances. Approval of the project's site plan was issued in june. With this in hand, trustees moved forward to mitigate the site and secure the balance of funds for construction. The southwest region planning commission removed the buried oil tank next to the building and reported that its engineers had found no further contamination of the site. Trustees also commissioned a series of environmental studies of the interior of the building and surrounding property and undertook necessary remediation. In september, usda's rural development approved the project for a long-term, low-interest loan for construction. With approvals in hand and having secured the early distribution of cdfa funds, trustees met with hutter construction corporation, town officials and abutters to work out a schedule for demolition of the facility and preparation of the site for construction. On december 10, 2013 and accompanied by representatives from federal, state and local elected officials along with 260 supporters and school children, hutter construction corporation leveled the building, removed the debris and cleared the site. This step paved the way for the final leg of the project's capital campaign and construction of a new facility. The corporation's annual report was distributed in early february and contained, among other items, the corporation's 990. The vision for the park theatre is that it will be "a regional center for the arts and entertainment, a meeting place for the community and a dynamic force in the region's economic vitality and quality of life". (adopted may 2006)

IRS990/Desc0THE MISSION OF THE PARK THEATRE IS "TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE RESIDENTS OF, AND VISITORS TO, THE MONADNOCK REGION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE COMMUNITIES, AND TO OWN AND MAINTAIN PHYSICAL FACILITIES". STARTING IN JULY, TRUSTEES MOUNTED THE THEATRE'S SEVENTH THEATRICAL SEASON WITH THE SUMMER MOVIE NIGHTS SERIES IN DOWNTOWN JAFFREY. THE SERIES INCLUDED 7 MOVIES SHOWN EVERY WEEK THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER: GREAT EXPECTATIONS, E.T. - THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, WINCHESTER 73, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, HOOSIERS, PETER PAN AND STAND BY ME. THE FILMS, WHICH ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, WERE SHOWN IN THE HISTORIC CUTLER MEMORIAL BUILDING, HOME TO ONE OF THE THEATRE'S PARTNERS, THE JAFFREY WOMAN'S CLUB. THE CORPORATION'S ANNUAL REPORT WAS DISTRIBUTED IN EARLY FEBRUARY AND CONTAINED, A

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0CUTLER MEMORIAL BUILDING, HOME TO ONE OF THE THEATRE'S PARTNERS, THE JAFFREY WOMAN'S CLUB.
