Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The corporation has adopted the provisions of fasb interpretation no. 48, accounting for uncertainty in income taxes (fasb accounting standards codification (asc) 740, income taxes). It requires that a tax position be recognized or derecognized based on a "more-likely-than-not" threshold. This applies to positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. The implementation of fin 48 had no impact on the corporation's statement of financial position or statement of activities. The corporation does not believe its financial statements include any uncertain tax positions and that no income taxes are due for its activities. Therefore, no provision for income taxes is included in the financial statements.

Pt XI Line 1

The audited financial statements include only the activities of covington square apartments, oak crossing apartments, and capital place apartments. Revenues and expenses related to the support function of foundation for affordable rental housing, inc. Have not been included in the audit report and are, therefore, reconciling items.
