“Adult services programming to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The pow&r program provides individualized, community based vocational services through which individuals engage in paid employment, volunteer and internship opportunities and learning experiences as well as recreational options. The residential programs consist of community based residential supports including supported living drop-in supports and residential community living assistance. These services allow autism delaware to support individuals and families as needed up to 24 hours per day in their own homes, allowing continued deep connections with families and the local community as well as offering an alternative to placement in group home environments. Family support services: autism delaware provides comprehensive, accessible, individual family peer supports. The autism care team (act) program and family navigation services support individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder. Autism delaware also provides educational workshops and informal support groups both online and in person. These sessions connect parents, caregivers, and professionals to share information and resources to help families achieve positive outcomes on their autism journeys.”
