“In 2024, the Alliance provided 2100 hours of direct training to 127 individuals from 80 Florida nonprofit organizations. Topics included partnerships and effective collaborations with banks, nonprofits and local governments, disaster resiliency, using artificial intelligence, rural housing, fund development, public policy/advocacy, succession planning, coping with decreasing resources, challenges with nonprofit sustainability, understanding nonprofit financials, the 990 from A to Z, and the state and future of the field in Florida. Additionally, 40 hours of individualized member services were provided to over 100 people from 55 organizations. The Alliance invested 139 hours in advocacy efforts to protect funding for affordable housing and community economic development in Florida and nationally. This included attending and sharing information from educational webinars, adding the Alliance to sign-on letters circulated by national partners, sending emails to elected officials and helping members do the same. In our efforts to provide current, relevant information on funding, education, industry research, best practices and employment opportunities, we published 46 issues of our Members Only e-Bulletin. This goes out to over 280 individuals and has an open rate of 34% and click rate of 6% (industry averages are 26% and 3%). Finally, we engaged 29 non-board member volunteers for a total of 519 hours and welcomed 6 new voting and 3 new affiliate members.”

Topics included partnerships and effective collaborations with banks, nonprofits and local governments, disaster resiliency, using artificial intelligence, rural housing, fund development, public policy/advocacy, succession planning, coping with decreasing resources, challenges with nonprofit sustainability, understanding nonprofit financials, the 990 from A to Z, and the state and future of the field in Florida. Additionally, 40 hours of individualized member services were provided to over 100 people from 55 organizations. The Alliance invested 139 hours in advocacy efforts to protect funding for affordable housing and community economic development in Florida and nationally. This included attending and sharing information from educational webinars, adding the Alliance to sign-on letters circulated by national partners, sending emails to elected officials and helping members do the same. In our efforts to provide current, relevant information on funding, education, industry research, best practices and employment opportunities, we published 46 issues of our Members Only e-Bulletin. This goes out to over 280 individuals and has an open rate of 34% and click rate of 6% (industry averages are 26% and 3%). Finally, we engaged 29 non-board member volunteers for a total of 519 hours and welcomed 6 new voting and 3 new affiliate members. |
