EVER SINCE THE GOLDMAN PAPER COMPANY CEASED OPERATIONS IN THE LATE 1990'S, THIS 12-ACRE PROPERTY WITH ITS 350,000 SQUARE FOOT VACANT STRUCTURE, HAS BEEN AN ENVIRONMENTALLY CHALLENGED EYESORE. FORTUNATELY FOR THE COMMUNITY, TERE GAVE THIS PROPERTY NEW LIFE.IN 2006, TERE REMOVED THE VACANT, DILAPIDATED STRUCTURE AND BEGAN CONSTRUCTION ON THE LANDSCAPED PARKING LOT DURING 2007. THE PARKING LOT WAS COMPLETED IN 2008 AND BENEFITS THE COMMUNITY BY HELPING TO RESOLVE PARKING CONSTRAINTS AT NORTHEASTERN HOSPITAL WHILE REMOVING AN EYESORE THAT HAS DAMAGED THE INTEGRITY OF PORT RICHMOND'S IMPORTANT ALLEGHENY AVENUE CORRIDOR.

Each Board Member is contacted and provided with the web address. A Board Member without internet access is provided a paper copy to review. The website and paper mailing have an overview of the 990 and 990T preparation process and internal reviews. Each Board Member is asked to review the 990 and 990T within 2 weeks and contact the Chief Financial Officer about any questions.

The Office of the Secretary reviews the completed disclosure statements which are then reviewed in summary format by a committee of the Board of Directors and any recommended actions presented to the full Board of Directors. In addition to completing the annual disclosure statement, directors and officers must disclose potential or actual conflicts on an ongoing basis as matters arise. All disclosures are evaluated and a determination of whether a conflict exists is made by the Board or a committee of the Board. All employees are subject to a conflicts of interest policy that is monitored by the Office of the Secretary.

The Annual Audited Financial Statements are also released to the public in the same manner.
