To advance the revitilization of new york's communities with a particular focus on brownfield sites in and proximate to low and moderate income neighborhoods of color.
NPCR advances the renewal of New York's low and moderate income neighborhoods and communities of color through the redevelopment of brownfield sites. Through its roundtables, forums, and summits, NPCR facilitates discussions on the challenges communities face in their revitalization efforts. NPCR translates those discussions into advocacy for legislation, policies, and programs that advance community-identified needs and priorities, particularly on behalf of those communities burdened with poverty and multiple brownfield sites.
